Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and name through our authentication provider, Clerk.
API Keys: You provide your own API keys for AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). These keys are encrypted and stored securely. We only use your API keys to execute your requests, including content generation workflows and the Owlbert AI assistant chatbot.
Content Data: We store the articles, jobs, workflows, and configurations you create within the platform.
Usage Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We only see aggregate statistics like page views and referral sources.

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them. Services marked "using your API keys" or "using your credentials" are accessed directly using credentials you provide.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption
- All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- We use secure authentication through Clerk
- Database access is restricted and audited
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or compliance purposes.
